Cove Island Park

SoundWaters Coastal Education Center
Also located in Cove Island Park, SoundWaters is home to hundreds of species native to Long Island Sound. It’s a teaching aquarium with tanks that feature animals from the Sound and coastal salt marshes. Both children and adults can learn and work on integral programs for the well-being and success of a community located on Long Island Sound.
This is another great outdoor option for your day out in Stamford; a 79-acre park on Long Island Sound. Visitors can enjoy the beach, pavilions, boar-walk and fishing pier for their day of sunshine. There are also a number of recreational facilities like tennis courts, basketball courts, a playground, and four softball fields.
Harbor Point Trolley
This free trolley runs every day in a 30-minute clockwise loop. With stops at UConn, Ferguson Library, Corporate Centers, Fairway Market and Sacred Heart University, it’s a valuable amenity to commuters and tourists that provide a quick, safe and efficient way to get around.
