Rated "Excellent" 2006 by the Zagat Survey , America's Most Prestigious Restaurant Guide, the Long Ridge Tavern has the ideal setting for an establishment full of history. Our beautiful dining areas hint at its historic roots with every glance and they can accommodate private occasions of up to 200 guests. Your planning will be as effortless as possible and the menu can be as relax or sophisticated as you require. Whether it's a christening, shower, wedding reception, bar/bat mitzvah, rehearsal dinner or corporate meeting the Long Ridge Tavern is the place to go. Choose from our four distinctive Dinning Rooms: The Palmer Room. Named after the original owner, Charles Palmer, seats 75 and displays the original post and beam construction and massive field-stone walls. The Tavern is the main dining room seating 80 and is dominated by an imposing fieldstone fireplace, a 50 foot antique bar and windows overlooking the beautiful terrace. The Hunt Room can accommodate 40 guests and is cozy and intimate. You may request this room for any small party where privacy is needed The Nutmeg Room is an intimate dining room which views the seasonal colors of our front garden.
